Missing Sedalia Man Found Dead in Joplin
A missing Sedalia man was recently found dead in Joplin, MO.
On July 10, Joplin Police were notified by a MODOT Mowing Crew that a body had been discovered at the interchange of I-44/49.
Officers responded and located the body on a hillside on the north side of the the I-44 Westbound transition ramp to Southbound I-49. Joplin Police Detectives and members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol were called to the scene to investigate.
The Joplin Globe reports the man was positively identified as 48-year old Thomas L. Bulluck, of Sedalia, whose vehicle was found abandoned on June 5 at the 11.6-mile marker of I-44.
Bulluck was reported missing to the Sedalia PD on June 6.
An autopsy was conducted and Jasper County Coroner Rob Chappel said the cause of death remains undetermined but there were no signs of foul play.
