May Fundraising Raises $13,000 for Show-Me Honor Flight Veterans

Townsquare Media in conjunction with Casey’s General Stores and Sedalia’s new car dealers successfully raised $13,000 in May to support the 2012 Show-Me Honor Flight, which provides veterans a trip to Washington DC to visit war memorials for the wars they served in.

Casey’s General Stores raised $8600 for the Honor Flight.  Community members also donated $4400 during our annual Show-Me Honor Flight radiothon.  The money will be used to fund this year’s flight, which is scheduled for this fall.  Each Honor Flight brings around 40 veterans to Washington DC every year.  There are still spots on the flight available, and applications can be found here.

Since 2009, nearly $48,000 has been raised to help support the Show-Me Honor Flight.  On behalf of Casey’s General Stores, Townsquare Media, Sedalia’s new car dealers and the Show-Me Honor Flight, we’d like to thank the community for supporting our veterans!
