Knights of Columbus Free Throw Winners

Six boys and three girls from Sedalia and surrounding towns, ranging in age from 9 through 14, were named local champions of the 2015 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship.    Sedalia Council #831 sponsored the local competition at the Sacred Heart School gym this past Sunday.

The winners in their respective age brackets are as follows:

9 year old boys – Tanner Damlo                                   9 year old girls – Audrey Wilhelm

10 year old boys – Ian Smith

11 year old boys – Colin Webb                                    11 year old girls – Blaise Brown

12 year old boys – Webster Brown IV

13 year old boys – Christian Finley

14 year old boys – Zach Racy                                      14 year old girls – Emma Wilhelm

These shooters have earned the right to compete at the district level on February 8^th in Tipton, MO against winners from K of C Councils in Tipton, California and Pilot Grove.  Winners at the district level advance to the Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Championship at Helias High School in Jefferson City later in February.
