
Lincoln Couple Killed in Head-on Crash in Henry County
A Lincoln couple was killed and a Clinton woman was injured in a three-vehicle head-on crash that occurred Sunday afternoon in Henry County.
The MSHP reports that an eastbound 2016 Ford Taurus, driven by a 77-year-old woman from Lincoln, was on Missouri 7 at NW 311 Road just before 3 p.m. Sunday, when the Taurus crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a westbound 2023 Nisan Maxima, driven by a 54-year-old woman from Clinton, head-on.
The Nissan was then struck by a westbound 2015 Ford F-150, driven by a 59-year-old man from Stillwell, Kansas. The Maxima then overturned.
The Lincoln woman was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased by Dr. Lucas at 3:37 p.m., while her passenger, an 81-year-old man from Lincoln, was pronounced deceased on scene by Dr. Lucas at 3:15 p.m.
The Clinton woman suffered serious injuries and was flown to Truman Medical Center by Life Flight Eagle.

The F-150 had moderate damage, while the other two vehicles were totaled. All three vehicles were towed.
Henry County Deputies and Clinton Police assisted the three Troopers on scene.
