I Found My Name In A Hindi Song And It’s Actually Amazing

Seriously, I swear I'm not just Googling myself constantly. What I was doing was, I was writing this blog post and so I wanted to find another post I'd written on a similar topic for a reference. Pretty meta, right.  So anyway I somehow was Googling my name to see if I could find it easier, but instead I found this.

This  might be one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. I haven't ever watched a Bollywood movie, but this might warm me up to 'em. India is not playing around.  I love the retro outfits, the shaky lip syncing, the crazy dancing, the wigs... count mine snatched, like the kids say these days. The song itself is pretty catchy, a little psychedelic rockish. It's just so fun!

I have to know more.  Wikipedia tells me this isn't just a band, but a solo song by a movie star/television star backed up by a band. Well, they also call him a "Playback Singer", which I learned means that in some Bollywood movies, he does the singing for the main actor.  I think we call that a voice double? I don't know.  He seems like a hardworking, good guy.  Clearly has a strong sense of humor in the video. He's cute, too, doesn't hurt. Anyway, his article doesn't  say anything about this song. So since it doesn't have subtitles, I had to do more searching to find out what it's about.

DOES MY NAME MEAN "INTOXICATED" IN HINDI?!  If it does, that's.... kinda cool. It's the exact same spelling and everything. Nobody spells their name like me it seems, and here I am in a whole 'nother language.  This is just crazy.  How did I not know about this?! Three years this has been on the internet, and I didn't find it?! And it's so cool and fun, this is just amazing.  My month has been made, you guys.
