I admit, I don't have any young young kids in my life right now. Well, I have cousins who have kids, sure. But I mean kids that are in my house every day. That ship has sailed, so to speak. But ya'll do, and that means it's important that we suss this out.

If you're a person who doesn't live with kids, or maybe you are going to go see kids you don't know very well, this can be hard. You don't want to get them something LAME. And you can't ask the kid, because that would ruin the surprise. And if you ask the parents, they might be able to tell you a thing or two, but they're going to use the good gift ideas themselves. Of course.
