Holiday Loneliness Solved with a Plant! [VIDEO]

Okay kids, I know that there are a lot of different products out there for people dealing with the holiday stress, but this one is ridiculous. 

Apparently there is something called a "Pekoppa".  It is a plant that responds to your voice and "listens" to you. You can buy it from Japan! What a coincidence, that Japan has something weird for sale!

I suppose it's simple enough.  It has a chip in it that makes it move, and only requires a couple of triple-A batteries. Still. Do I need a listening plant? Don't we have pets for that?
