Holden Man Injured After Crashing Into Utility Pole
A Holden man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early Thursday morning in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2008 Ford Focus, driven by 21-year-old Chance D. Leathers of Holden was on Missouri 58, at SW 200th Road in Centerview, when the Ford traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Leathers suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene by JCAD.
The Ford was totaled and towed from the scene by Tip Top Towing.
Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
Leathers was later arrested by the Patrol at 4:25 a.m. He now faces charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving and no seat belt.
He was taken to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released.
