Holden Man Dies in Johnson County Accident
A Holden man died in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Friday night in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2012 Dodge Ram, driven by 66-year-old Larry D. Callahan of Holden, was on NW 475 Road, east of US Highway 50 around 10:30 p.m., when the truck traveled off the left side of the roadway, through the yard of a residence, and into a pond.
Callahan, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was transported to Lee's Summit Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:21 a.m., by Dr. Colton Bitely.

The Dodge Ram was totaled and towed by Warrensburg tow.
Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
