A Holden teen was injured in a rollover accident that occurred Wednesday evening in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1991 Ford F-150, driven by a 16-year-old female from Holden, was on Route O, south of County Road 835 around 6 p.m., when the driver swerved to avoid an animal in the road and the truck crossed the center of the roadway. The driver overcorrected and the truck ran off the right side of the road, then returned to the roadway, ran off the left side and struck a pole, then overturned before coming to rest on its top.
