Colton’s in Sedalia will have a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity tonight (Dec. 17) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. They’re raising money to build affordable housing in the Sedalia area.

Founded in 1982 by Millard and Linda Fuller, Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit housing group dedicated to eliminating homelessness worldwide. They want to make adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people from all faiths and walks of live to work together in partnership, building houses with families in need.

The Sedalia Area Habitat for Humanity, founded in 1988, is a part of growing Habitat family. Sedalia's work over the years has resulted in over 22 homes constructed in the Sedalia Area. So stop by Colton's for dinner tonight between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and they'll donate to the HFH.

If you want to find out more about the local Habitat or get involved with a donation or volunteer time, Call Tom Beatty for details at 826-8357. You can also do some reading up about the local chapter on their website.

Habitually yours,

Behka
