Usually around this time of year you have to search for something cool to do. Well, something warm to do that's fun, I guess I should say. It's been so cold out that nobody really wants to spend a huge amount of time outside. That's why we've got the huge Cabin Fever Sports Show, and it's getting closer by the day.

The Angler’s Port Marine Cabin Fever Sports Show is less THAN TWO DAYS AWAY! It will be February 7 and 8 at the Mathewson Exhibition Center in Sedalia, Mo. Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. This year’s show will be one of our best ever.

This fun event for the entire family will reach into the Lowell Mohler Hall, too. There's going to be an awesome barbecue contest (which I'm hoping I'll get to sample) this year. See the most monster deer in the world at the World’s Outstanding Whitetails Display, plus many booths for hunting and fishing, camping, boating, home renovation, crafts, home based businesses, body, health and beauty, kids games, fishing seminars, blacksmithing demonstrations, hourly door prizes and so much more.

I know what you're thinking. You're thinking: "But, Behka, how much more can there be?" I'll address that question twofold: first, why are you so demanding about this information, and second, why are you not at least a little bit freaked out that I can read your mind? Well, Judge Judyperson, I'm going to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt for you by spelling it out. Here are some of the great products and services you’ll find at this year’s sports show:

  • Jones' Brothers Marine BBQ contest
  • Announcing the Big Buck contest winners
  • Deer Tag Soup drawing for a brand new Mathews Bow from Vinson’s Gun and Pawn
  • The third annual 3D Archery shoot presented by Mossy Oak Properties and Warsaw Archery
  • Youth Archery
  • Games for kids
  • Win tickets to see Lee Brice and Chris Young
  • Win tickets to Arenacross
  • Shopping
  • Hang out with the KIX/BOB crew
And if that wasn't enough to convince you, I got to talk to Derrick Gill, our Live Event Guru, about all the other details.

Tickets to the Cabin Fever Sports Show are $4 or $3 with a food item to donate to Community Cafe. Children 12 and under are FREE. Take as many as you want!

...........Guys. You know I'm kidding about that part, right? But seriously, the kids do get in for free. Maybe my mindreading skills have faded, I couldn't tell if you guys were in on my joke.

See ya at the 2015 Cabin Fever Sports Show, on Feb. 7-8! I'll be out there most all weekend, and you should be, too.

The Amazing Mindreader,

Behka
