In 2022, this November we will have the mid-term elections.  I suspect they will be one of the most voted on midterm elections in our lifetime.  Missouri could have a impact as Roy Blunt is retiring and several politicians are running for his seat.  Former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens is one of them.  He resigned as our Governor in June of 2018 after allegations of sexual misconduct and campaign finance impropriety.

Missouri Rep. Vicky Hartzler, who is running for Senate against Greitens, spoke out, calling attention to the pattern of accusations against Greitens. His ex-wife has accused him of physical abuse and unstable behavior.  Missouri Senate Majority Leader Caleb Rowden condemned Greitens in a Tweet which you can read below.

You can read more about this situation HERE.    I was living in Columbia Missouri when he resigned from office.  I remember some of his speech and he seemed to be defiant in regards to him leaving office.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt also reacted to the allegations, calling them "disgusting" and "sickening." "The behavior described in this affidavit is cause for Eric Greitens to be in prison, not on the ballot for U.S. Senate. He should end his campaign immediately," Schmitt said.

We will see what happens come November.  If any of the allegations made by Eric's ex-wife are true, I wonder if he will be removed from the ballot or if he will actually drop out of the race.
