Or, well, it was to me.  Doesn't everyone have one of these?

Husbando and I were doing some cleaning this Sunday.  I dread doing it, because every time I do I feel like we're just terrible slobs.. which I guess makes it worse, but hey.  It is what it is.  So we were nosing around, looking at a bunch of stuff, when I found this blanket.

You know, it's one of those blankets that is almost...textured? I guess it's ridged? I don't know what the actual term for it is.  It seems like everyone and their dog has one of these somewhere, that came from someone's grandma or a yard sale.  When I went to Graceland, one of these kind of blankets (different pattern, but still) was on Elvis' mother's bed.  It even had the little tassels on the bottom with the little balls.

It's thin, it's pretty, and it could be home made, but I don't know. It just seems like I've seen these things everywhere all my life, it's like every house had one.  Is it a midwestern thing? Is it a southern thing? 'Cause half of my family is kind of from Iowa, the other half is from the south.

Do you have one of these? Have you had one in the past? It can't be just me.

Blanketly yours,
Behka
