Check Out This Cute Stop Motion Animation From A Sedalia Filmmaker
I'm always on the lookout for stuff that you guys are doing. Sometimes it's just silly stuff, sometimes it's funny stuff, sometimes it's creative endeavors, what have you. And I think I found one that encompasses all three! I don't know if you know much about stop motion animation, but it's a very difficult, very time consuming process. To kind of make it simple enough for someone like me to understand, you basically take a picture for every movement you want the characters to make. So that's... a lot of stopping and starting. I imagine it can be tedious and patience trying, but if it's something you really enjoy or believe in, it's immensely rewarding.
I found that a local collector/actor/creative guy named Curt Holman did such a thing! It's a Star Wars clip, and it's got everything you want. Action, creatures, a couple giggles, and Peanut Butter Snickers.
I say, way to go, my dude. You did a great job! I bet it took forever, though. I would never have the patience to do something like that. I'd be a frustrated, probably crying, useless mess in like, ten minutes. BUT, you guys aren't - I bet if I did some looking I'd find some other creative things Sedalians have done. Maybe that's another blog for another day.
Snickersingly yours,
Behka
