The Missouri State Fair is nearly two full weeks of fun, carnival rides, exhibits, contests, fair food, and special events! In 2018 the fair is taking place August 9-August 19. Here's everything you need to know about the 2018 Missouri State Fair.
Daily Deals, Themes and Specials
Thursday, August 9: Come Home for Family Value Day. $4 gate admission all day age 13+, $2 age 6-12. Opening Day specials at select concessions & vendors.
Friday, August 10: Missouri Department of Conservation Day.
Saturday, August 11: So-da-riffic…Pepsi Day. $1 off adult gate admission with coupon on special 2-liter Pepsi products. Law Enforcement/Firefighter Appreciation Day – Free gate admission for Law Enforcement/Firefighters-EMTs-Paramedics with appropriate I.D. $1 gate admission for immediate family members (spouse & dependent children).
Sunday, August 12: Military Appreciation Day. Free gate admission for active military, veterans & delayed entry recruits with appropriate I.D. $1 admission for immediate family members (spouse & dependent children). $5 after 5 p.m. Cannot combine with other promotions/coupons Gate admission $5 after 5 pm, Aug 12-16.
Monday, August 13: Farm Bureau/Farm Family Day. $1 off adult gate admission with coupon available at County Farm Bureau offices. $5 after 5 p.m. Cannot combine with other promotions/coupon Gate admission $5 after 5 pm, Aug 12-16.
Tuesday, August 14: Missouri Farmers Care Food Drive. $2 Tuesday with canned food donations to benefit Feeding Missouri. Adult & Senior Admission Discount: Bring a minimum donation of 2 cans of food to support the food drive and receive $2 admission, ages 13+. Regular admission prices apply with no can donation ($10, ages 13+). Carnival Discount: Most carnival rides $2 all day * some exclusions may apply. Vendor/Concession Discount: $2 specials at select concessions & vendors. $5 after 5 p.m. Cannot combine with other promotions/coupon. Gate admission $5 after 5 pm, Aug 12-16.
Wednesday, August 15: Senior Appreciation Day. $2 off adult & senior gate admission with special front page sticker available in the Sedalia Democrat newspaper. $5 after 5 p.m. Cannot combine with other promotions/coupon. Gate admission $5 after 5 pm, Aug 12-16.
Thursday, August 16: Governor’s, Legislators’ & Judges Day. Governor’s Ham Breakfast, 8 am Director’s Tent. Throwback Thursday. $5 gate admission all day age 13+ FREE kids 12 & under. Throwback specials at select concessions and vendors. $5 after 5 p.m. Cannot combine with other promotions/coupon. Gate admission $5 after 5 pm, Aug 12-16.
Friday, August 17: Missouri’s Electric Cooperatives Day. MEC will be giving away FREE 9 WATT LED light bulbs to the first 1,500 visitors that come into their building on Aug 17. Rural Missouri Magazine Coupon – $5 off unlimited carnival ride wristband, Aug 17 only, with coupon available in Rural Missouri Magazine.
Saturday, August 18: Youth in Agriculture Day. $1 off adult gate admission with coupon available at Missouri County Extensions office. Specials Just for Kids at Select Vendors/Concessions. Sale of Champions, 1:30 pm, Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall.
