Trick-or-treating may be on the damp side tonight (Oct. 31) with the rain we've received, but there are plenty of Halloween activities still happening. Here is a look at some of the activities planned in the area for kids to do in addition to door-to-door trick-or-treating. 

Clinton:

1st Baptist Church of Clinton The Annual "Trunk-or-Treat" is tonight, 6-8 p.m.

The Northeast Baptist Church in Clinton at Seventh and Lincoln Streets will hold a Fall Harvest Fest tonight from 6-8 p.m.

Concordia:

Trick-or-Treat at Concordia Businesses for a safe Halloween. Games, hot dogs, treats, photos, prizes and face-painting will be available. The event starts at 5 p.m. and is for preschool through fifth grade. All those attending must be accompanied by an adult.

Knob Noster:

The Knob Noster Chamber will be hosting the 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Railroad St., located just south of the train tracks (Railroad and State).

Marshall:

Ghosts and goblins of all ages are invited to come to the Salt Fork YMCA tonight from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for our annual Halloween Party! This is free of charge to everyone, members and community members. There will be new booths for children of all ages to participate in with prizes and candy for all. We will also have the dunking booth available in the pool area. All children must be accompanied by a parent.

Sedalia:

America's Car Mart on S. Limit will be passing out candy from 4-7 p.m.

New Hope Baptist on 16th Street will be passing out candy from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The MAMA (Mother's Against Meth) will be passing out candy at 505 S. Kentucky between 3-5 p.m.

Trunk-or-Treat, tonight from 5-7 p.m at the Celebration Center on 32nd Street.

Warehouse Tire & Muffler is holding a Customer Appreciation Celebration with candy, hot dogs, hamburgers and chips from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Bring the kids downtown to trick or treat participating businesses in Historic Downtown Sedalia. Treats are available from 3 to 5 p.m.

Moose Lodge 1494 will host Trunk or Treat 5-7 p.m.

First Baptist Church 200 E. 6th St. downtown Sedalia is hosting their Annual Fall Festival for kids birth-6th grade from 5:30-7:30pm. The public is invited. Enjoy games, hotdogs, bounce house, lots of candy & FUN! Come in costume (no evil or scary ones, please) If you can please bring a can of food for a collection being taken up for donation to the Open Door Food Pantry.

Warrensburg:

Bring all of your miniature ghosts and goblins downtown for a safe and exciting Halloween celebration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Downtown Warrensburg. There will be a Hay dig scavenger hunt by UMB Bank.

Join the Northside Christian Church at 500 North Ridgeview Drive for Family Fun Fest. It’ll be in Warrensburg from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. They have a full night of food, games and fun planned. If you have questions, contact Shamus at 747-8632.

Whiteman Air Force Base:

Trick-or-Treat Hours are 6-8 p.m.

Windsor:

IOOF, Windsor United Methodist Church, Windsor Assembly of God, First Christian Church with Trunk of Treats, First Baptist Church with a Trunk of Treats, United Methodist Church, Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce and many more will provide a safe place to trick-or-treat. The costume contest is at 5:30 p.m. in front of T.H. Rogers Lumber and G & L Liquor. The residents at Windsor Healthcare & Rehab would love to see all the children and costumes starting at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. unless they run out of candy.
