UCM Update

Celebrate Motown, not seen for 20+ years, this special was hosted by legendary comedian Richard Pryor. "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever" celebrates the 25th anniversary of Motown, with reunions of Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, Diana Ross and The Supremes,The Jackson 5, The Temptations, Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Martha Reeves, Mary Wells, Jr. Walker and more!  This incredible special presentation finally comes to you for an amazing night on KMOS-TV! That’s tomorrow night at 8:00.

The Performing Arts Series at the University of Central Missouri will host pianist Thomas Schumacher in a concert, “Eastman at Central 2015,” at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 9, in Hart Recital Hall. The event is part of the Guest Artist Series sponsored by the UCM Department of Music.

The University of Central Missouri Department of Theatre and Dance will present its mainstage performance of Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas March 4-8 in the James L. Highlander Theatre.  John Wilson, professor of theatre is director for the production. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. March 4-7 with a 2 p.m. matinee planned for Sunday, March 8.

The 12^th ranked Mules win Wednesdsay night improved UCM's record to 23-4 overall and 14-4 in MIAA play and secured a top two seed in the MIAA Tournament and a bye to the quartfinals in Kansas City on Thursday, March 5.  Both the UCM Mules and Jennies will close out its regular season schedule at Northwest Missouri tomorrow with a 1:30 p.m. tip-off for the Jennies and a 3:30 start for the Mules.
