A traffic stop performed by the Sedalia STING Unit in the area of West Main St. and South Kentucky Ave. led to a drug bust on Albright Ct. on Tuesday (Dec.10).

The Sedalia Police Department received two new law enforcement tools last Friday (Nov. 1), and according to Sedalia Police Chief John DeGonia they were put right to work. The two additions to the force are of the furry, four-legged canine variety. Their names are Gallo and Charlie.
Sedalia Police Department patrol officers and detectives with the Sedalia STING Unit responded to 347 Buckner Court at 5:27 a.m. this morning (Oct. 4) to serve a drug related search warrant.
At 12:04 a.m. this morning (Oct. 3), the Sedalia Police Department STING Unit served a search warrant with officers from the Pettis County Sheriff's Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol at Room 11 of the Stardust Motel, located at 4710 S. Limit.
According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department the Sedalia S.T.I.N.G. Unit along with other officers served a search warrant at 728 East 5th at 12:06 a.m. this morning (Sept. 19). Upon entry, officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department’s STING Unit, Sedalia Police and detectives along with the STING Unit responded to 1302 South Quincy to serve a drug-related search warrant at 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday night (Aug. 21). A short time after the warrant was served, a male subject who officers had the warrant for arrived at the residence and was taken into custody.

Just after midnight this morning (Aug. 20), the Sedalia Police Department’s STING unit, patrol officers and a Pettis County Deputy served a drug related search warrant at 906 East 5th St. Upon arrival, officers located a male and female who were detained. A juvenile was also located in the residence according to the press release.
At 8:21 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30 the Sedalia Police STING Unit and other officers served a search warrant at Room 125 at the American Inn located at 1217 South Limit. Upon arrival, officers found two subjects in the room and secured them. During a search, officers located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging supplies.
According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department, the Sedalia Police Department STING Unit served a search warrant at 620 South Washington at approximately 6:14 this morning (July 19). Upon arrival, two subjects were located in the residence. A search of the residence revealed methamphetamine, marijuana, illegal prescription pills and drug packaging materials.
