According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department’s STING Unit, Sedalia Police and detectives along with the STING Unit responded to 1302 South Quincy to serve a drug-related search warrant at 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday night (Aug. 21). A short time after the warrant was served, a male subject who officers had the warrant for arrived at the residence and was taken into custody.

After the warrant was served on South Quincy, Pettis County Deputies, Sedalia Police  and members of the STING Unit served another search warrant at a residence located at 26321 Cordes Road in Pettis County. The warrant was served on Cordes Road after information was the subject arrested on South Quincy provided information indicating that there were illegal drugs and weapons . A subsequent search of the residence revealed individually packaged baggies of methamphetamine, indicating the suspect was distributing the substance. Prescription pills and a short-barreled shotgun were also located in the suspect’s bedroom with the meth.

The suspect at the Cordes address was identified as 25-year-old Victor Sarioglo. Sarioglo was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending state charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Sedalia police officers responded to the 1302 South Quincy address again at 11:23 Wednesday night, where they located a suspect who was in possession of Alpazolam, a generic Xanax that is a Schedule IV drug requiring a prescription. The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Angela Keele, could not produce a prescription and was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail, where she was placed on 24-hour hold pending charges for possession.
