I hope everyone had a great weekend last week and that all of the moms had an even greater Mother's Day. We had our kids Fishin' for a Cure that weekend at Liberty Park, and it was awesome. It was packed with over 100 kids and lots of families with everyone enjoying the outdoor activities...

It's sports show time!  The 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show will kick off (no Super Bowl pun intended) on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. and run through 8 p.m.  We'll be back out there until 3 p.m. on Sunday so you can get back home in time for the Super Bowl (where the Ravens will win by 7).

Finally some snow and cold!  It looks like winter went to the woods and sat before and during the snow this week.  The deer didn't mind, and I thought it was awesome.  The woods were quiet with the occasional shot during the second youth weekend.  The deer were moving and I saw several small bucks, but not the shooter I wanted.  The does wouldn't get close enough for my liking.

Well, Father's Day has come and gone, and I hope everyone's was as good as mine.  We shot in another 3D shoot this week.  It was the ASA Qualifier to qualify for the Missouri State Championships.  Brandon Scott of Sedalia took first place, and I was fortunate enough to take second in the Hunter Class, qualifying for the state shoot.
