Christmas is over and the new year is right around the corner.  The Hoffert Christmas was great.  When the problems in America have you down, you surround yourself with God, family and friends and it all seems to go on the back burner.

The Community Santa Project made Christmas a little better for over 1000 children this year.  Thanks to the Community Santa team, all of the local businesses that made awesome donations and the drop off location volunteers.

The Big Buck contest is still going on, so you still have about two weeks to get that buck down in archery season, then it's all over.  Then we talk turkeys and crappie fishing.

The 3D shoots all start in January.  Montrose Archery has the first shoot of the year on Jan. 13, followed by the California Shooter's Club 3D Shoot on Jan. 20 in California, Mo.  Then it's on to the 1st Annual Icebreaker Classic 3D Shoot, a 2-day shoot on Jan. 26 and 27.  Day 1 is at State Fair Archery and Day 2 is in Cole Camp.  You can win trophies on each individual day, and then an overall combined score trophy as well.  There will be drawings for door prizes as well.  It's going to be awesome!

February 2 and 3 is the 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show, which will include our first Huntin' and Fishin' with harry and Jam Marketing 3D Pop Up Shoot, which will be set up by Sticks Archery.  We'll be shooting for cash and prizes, and it's sure to be a hit.  Keep listening for more updates.

The Whitetails Unlimited Banquet  on Jan. 12, is filling up fast.  Thanks for all of the support, it's going to be a blast.  We'll have at least one (and possibly two) AR-15s at the live auction, as well as an AR-22 rifle and a take down Ruger 10-22, all of which are very hard to find.  We'll have over 30 guns total at the live auction, and this year we're only selling 45 tables.  With 350-400 people, that's pretty good odds at the auction, plus, half the proceeds benefit MO Kids Outdoors for our hunting and fishing trips, field days our Wounded Warrior hunts.

We hope to see you there!  Call 660-596-8545 for more information.
