Sedalia Salvation Army Holding Benefit Dinner and Auction [INTERVIEW]
The local Salvation Army are always doing things to help anyone in need. We may associate them with the bell ringers in the fall and winter, but the folks over there raise money and help people all year long. They’ve got a big dinner and benefit coming up on Friday, March 14. They’ll have a great homemade dinner on March 14 with roast and all the fixings, and just for $3. They’ll have a silent auction during the dinner for many great items donated from local businesses and organizations. The dinner starts at 5:00 and the silent auction will end by 7:00.
I got to talk with Lorraine Eiler, the VISTA coordinator, about the event and everything they’re doing.
So make sure you stop by the Salvation Army at 1200 East Broadway on March 14 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The dinner is only $3, and make sure you join in on the silent auction!
