The Voice, home to celebrity judge Blake Shelton, is wrapping up its ninth season this month, and Sam Hunt is stopping by to help close up shop.

The "Take Your Time" singer will perform on Tuesday, Dec. 15, alongside some of music’s biggest stars: Justin Bieber, Missy Elliott, the Weeknd and Coldplay.

The artist has definitely made an impact on country music in 2015, quickly rising to the top of many critics’ list of the best newcomers on the scene. Hunt was recently named the all-genre New Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards and was just nominated for two Grammys, one for Best Country Album for Montevallo and another for Best New Artist, which is also all-genre. His off-beat style and charming attitude has won country music over with three No. 1 singles from his debut record. His most recent single, “Breakup in a Small Town” has reached No. 2 on the Billboard country charts.

Hunt also released an acoustic “mixtape” EP, titled Between the Pines, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Montevallo, which includes new stripped-down versions of his songs. The star co-wrote Keith Urban’s “Cop Car,” so he included his own version of it on the EP. Hunt hit the road with Lady Antebellum and Hunter Hayes on the Wheels Up Tour this summer, and he's now reportedly working on new music for his sophomore album.
