Around 10:14 this morning, police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Main and Park for improper registration. The driver turned out to have a revoked license from Missouri. The driver was arrested for revoked license and placed on a 24 hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.
Around 3:13 this morning, in the area of South Kentucky and Broadway, officers recognized the driver of a green passenger car, to have an active parole warrant. The officer spoke with the driver and the passenger. A check through dispatch revealed the driver had an active warrant for an original charge of unlawful use of a weapon. Upon searching the vehicle, marijauna and drug paraphenelia was also found. The driver was placed on a 24 hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending the drug charge. Bond was set at $25,000.00.
At 2:48 this morning, in the 500 block of South Ohio, officers were called and observed a make subject trying to get into the back door of the building. The subject was highly intoxicated and refused to answer any questions. The man was charged with disturbing the peace and taken to the Pettis County Jail with a bond of $283.50.
On the evening of December 8th, around 6:30, in the 400 block of Welch Court, there was a reported theft. The caller stated that sometime on December 5th, a diamond ring had been stolen from her apartment. The value of the ring was placed at $300.00.
Around 1:11 in the afternoon on December 8th, there was a two car wreck at the West Broadway and Winchester Avenue. There was reported minor damage to both vehicles. Driver 1 was struck from behind by driver 2 while waiting at the intersection. Driver 1 complained of back pain but opted not to receive medical treatment.
On the morning of December 8th, around 8:20, in the 800 block of Manor Court, there was a reported disturbance. The complainent stated that the suspect had been displaying psychotic behavior and threatened her by saying she would hit her in the head with a hammer and burn the residence down. The complaintent did not want to pursue charges. The suspect was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a voluntary committal.
