Freezing drizzle is expected across the area from Friday morning through Friday evening. This may cause slick roads and slippery sidewalks, driveways, etc. through the day. Temperatures are expected to warm above freezing for areas south of Highway 36 by mid day Friday, so the greatest potential for glazing will be across northern Missouri. This mess on Friday will just be the start of a wintry weekend. Light snow is possible Saturday and then the bottom drops out regarding temperatures by Sunday morning. Lows are expected to range from -5 to 5 with wind chill values as cold as -25 in far northern Missouri.
