Two country legends will be coming to the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena this April. Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard will appear together in Independence, Missouri on April 11 at 7:30.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, January 15 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $55 to $70 and will be available through Ticketmaster.

Nelson has recorded over 200 albums during his six-decade career. and has won nearly every award possible for a recording artist and songwriter. He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame and the National Agriculture Hall of Fame.

Haggard, along with Nelson and additional country legends like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson are among the artists responsible for the "outlaw country" movement that became popular in the late 60s. He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. In 2010, Haggard was a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors for his contribution to American culture.
