The Super Bowl is one of the top watched events of the year no matter what team plays. People will strive to watch it for the game, for the commercials for the half time show or maybe to see if they see a friend at the game. Over 110 million people watched the Super Bowl last year.

I got to thinking. What do you do if you don't watch the Super Bowl?

In my household, we don't watch the 6-hour pregame to the Super Bowl, we watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. It actually repeats through the day, while the big game is on.

The Hallmark Channel has countered the popular Puppy Bowl with Kitty Bowl for you cat lovers and National Geographic upped the ante for you fish lovers, with Fish Bowl.

Some of my friends on facebook commented on what they play to do.

The Paul Klover Futsal league continues today and it looks like there is no rest even during the Super Bowl. Good luck to all those who play. I wonder if they'll fit in a jumbotron for tonight.

Another friend of mine has a great idea and plans to go shopping, because there are no lines. I can personally say when I visit my family in Alabama when Alabama plays Auburn, Saturdays are amazing to go shopping or to the movies, for the same reason that Melissa listed. I imagine the Super Bowl will be no different. Who knows, maybe you'll get some Super Bowl items on sale.

One of our Bob listeners, Alyssa Harris, may have one of the best answers.

Have all the snacks like it's the Super Bowl anyways...and watch Netflix. Plus fbook (Facebook) updates will give the play-by-play, I won't miss much.

I'm sure there are countless other things to do. What is it that you plan to do?
