Warsaw Woman Injured in Benton County Bridge Crash

A Warsaw woman was injured in a crash that occurred on a bridge in Benton County on Monday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2017 Jeep Wrangler, driven by 50-year-old Amy L. Spunaugle of Warsaw, was stopped in traffic due to construction on Missouri 7, on the mile-long bridge just before noon, when a northbound 2017 Isuzu, driven by 56-year-old Jose O. Oquendo of North Kansas City, struck the rear of the Jeep.

Spunaugle suffered minor injuries, and was transported by private vehicle to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.

The Isuzu had moderate damage, while the Jeep had extensive damage. Both were towed from the scene.

Benton County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
