
Clinton Man Killed in JoCo Motorcycle Crash
UPDATE: This story was updated at 3:45 p.m., to reflect that the man later died at Research Medical Center.
A Clinton man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2003 Harley Davidson, driven by a 66-year-old man from Clinton, was on Missouri 13, south of the Business 13 South Junction around 1:45 p.m., when the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a MoDOT sign. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was then transported with serious injuries to Research Medical Center by JCAD.
The Harley was totaled and towed from the scene by Tip Top Towing.
Johnson County Deputies, Johnson County Fire and Warrensburg Police assisted the Patrol.
