A Warsaw man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday evening in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2009 Kia Spectrum, driven by 30-year-old Nathan L. Riga of Warsaw, was on Highway 65, south of Highway 52 around 6 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a sign, then struck a concrete culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Riga suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by Cole Camp EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Kia was totaled and towed from the scene.
