Warsaw Couple Injured in Benton County Crash

Two Warsaw residents were injured Monday afternoon when the mini van they were in ran off the road and struck a culvert.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 2001 Honda Odyssey, driven by 80-year-old Ernest F. Tempfel of Warsaw, was on Summit Drive, east of Texas Lane at 1:50 p.m., when the accident occurred. Ernest and his passenger, 77-year-old Karen S. Tempfel of Warsaw, suffered minor injuries, and were transported to Golden Valley Hospital by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance for treatment.

The Honda had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
