Ward and Peck Indicted in 2014 Shooting and Robbery
A grand jury has returned indictments on two men in connection with a 2014 robbery and shooting in Sedalia.
Pettis County Prosecuting Attorney Phillip T. Sawyer announced that 19-year-old Henry Ward was Indicted on charges of Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Receiving Stolen Property. 27-year-old Timothy Peck was Indicted on charges of Robbery 1st Degree and Hindering Prosecution of a Felony.
Ward and Peck were arrested in December for the armed robbery on December 18, 2014 at The Gold Buyer in downtown Sedalia. During the robbery, the owner of the business, Wesley E. Brown, was struck several times in the face and shot twice in the upper chest area with a handgun. Wesley was hospitalized and has since recovered from his injuries. Cash, jewelry and a 9mm handgun were reportedly stolen from the business.
Arraignment of the charges is scheduled in the Circuit Court of Pettis County on January 13.

SUBJECT: INDICTMENTS RETURNED ON HENRY WARD AND TIMOTHY PECK.
A Grand Jury was convened early this morning (1/4/2017) to consider charges related to a two year old shooting that occurred December 18th, 2014 at 108 South Ohio. After considering testimony, Indictments were handed down on two individuals previously charged by the Pettis County Prosecutor’s Office.
HENRY LEE WARD: 19, currently of Sedalia, was Indicted on charges of Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Receiving Stolen Property.
TIMOTHY L. PECK: 27, currently of Sedalia, was Indicted on charges of Robbery 1st Degree and Hindering Prosecution of a Felony.
Both matters have been noticed up for Arraignment of the charges in the Circuit Court of Pettis County on January 13th, 2017.
