A Versailles teenager was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday night in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2013 Toyota Camry, driven by a 17-year-old female from Versailles, was on Route M, south of Whiteman Road around 10 p.m., when the driver failed to negotiate a left curve, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway. The Camry then slid and rotated counterclockwise, crossed Whiteman Road, struck a MoDOT sign, overturned and struck a small group of trees.

The girl suffered minor injuries and was transported by Cole Camp EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

The Toyota was totaled.

Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
