Versailles Motorcyclist Injured After Striking Deer

A Versailles man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred Thursday night in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by 49-year-old Michael C. Hibdon of Versailles, was on Route MM, 960 feet north of Hidden Valley Road at 8:18 p.m., when he struck a deer and overturned, ejecting the driver.

Hibdon suffered serious injuries, and was transported by MU Air Care to University Hospital for treatment.
