Unload That Old Couch During Warrensburg’s Fall Clean Up
Got an old couch you need to get rid of? Other old or broken furniture or appliances? You're in luck. Warrensburg's fall clean-up happens in early October. And other communities in Johnson County can unload their old bulk refuse this weekend.
Warrensburg's 2021 citywide fall clean-up is scheduled for the first two weeks in October. It's fairly simple really. If you have old furniture, carpeting, tree trimmings, and appliances you can put them out at the curb and the City of Warrensburg will pick them up and haul them away for you for free.
Residents who live east of Maguire Street will have their bulk refuse picked up the week of October 4. And those who live west of Maguire Street will have their bulk refuse picked up the week of October 11. There are some guidelines on what the City will pick up, and what the City won't be picking up and how it should be placed at the curb. You can learn more about that by reading the City's flyer here.
Residents of unincorporated Johnson County can bring their old furniture, non-freon using appliances, electronic waste, tires, and everything the Johnson County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site usually collects to the site this Saturday, September, 18 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM CDT and this Sunday, September, 19 from 9:00 AM to Noon.
The Johnson County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site is located at 326 E. North Street in Warrensburg. To learn more about what the site accepts and its hours you can click here. They usually have one collection day per month for Johnson County residents.
