Buy Chicken Cheaply Friday April 14 While Helping Fellow Missourians
What if I told you there was a way to get a lot of chicken cheaply and help some of your fellow Missourians in Pettis County at the same time? I bet you'd want to hear more, and then you'd make space in your freezer, right? Yaknow for a bunch of chicken.
Well, there is a way to stock up on chicken cheaply and help your fellow Missourians in Pettis County all at once. It's the Tyson Truckload Sale and it's back Friday, April 14, at the Thompson Hills Shopping Center in Sedalia.
Let's get down to business, just what can you get at the Tyson Truckload Sale?
20 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts for $45. 21 pounds of breaded parmesan tenders for $70. 24 and a half pounds of crispy strips for $80. 20 pounds of raw chicken wings for $40. 25 pounds of ready-to-cook breaded tenders for $50 dollars. Not to mention a variety of other raw, ready-to-cook, and fully cooked chicken products to grill up, air fry, deep fry, bake, and make chicken soup with. A list of what is for sale is available on their Facebook Event page.
The only thing that isn't all that appealing about the Tyson Truckload Sale is finding the freezer space for all that chicken.
The best part of the Tyson Truckload Sale is who it benefits. The United Way of Pettis County. The mission of the United Way in Pettis County is to "Unite people and resources to improve lives in Pettis County." One of the ways they do that is to help a lot of organizations and charities that might help you, your friends, or your neighbors. Another way they do that is by creating community solutions to problems in Pettis County.
The United Way of Pettis County helps a variety of non-profits through funding including The Boys and Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri, Pettis County Community Partnership, The Salvation Army, The Sedalia Civil Air Patrol, Sedalia Senior Center, Show-Me Christian Youth Home, Children's Mercy Hospital, C.A.C.T.U.S., Blind of Central Missouri and the Association for Persons with Disabilities. You can learn more about the United Way and these partner agencies here.
The Tyson Truckload sale is taking place from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Friday, April 14, at Thompson Hills Shopping Center in Sedalia. Learn more on their Facebook Event Page here.
