United Way of Pettis County has officially announced their 17 funded partners for 2024, according to Rachelle Simon, executive director.

Funded partners include: Association for Persons With Disabilities, Blind of Central Missouri, Boy Scouts of America Great Rivers Council, Boys & Girls Club of Western Missouri, Inc., CACTUS, Center For Human Services, Child Safe of Central Missouri, Children's Mercy Hospital, Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland, New Life Community Impact Center, Open Door Service Center, Inc., Pettis County Community Partnership, Retrieving Freedom, Sedalia Salvation Army, Civil Air Patrol, Sedalia Senior Center, and Show-Me Christian Youth Home.

A total of $147,729 will be donated via grants to serve the local community, surpassing last year's amount, Simon said.

Simon thanked all donors, adding that the money raised through a campaign supports amazing programs, which help improve the community's education, health and financial stability.
