Two Sedalia women were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2007 Toyota Camry, driven by 37-year-old Oluwaranti A. Omowami of Warrensburg, was on US Highway 50, west of the Missouri 13 bypass around 10:45 a.m., when the driver stopped in the right lane of 50 to make a left turn, and a westbound 2014 Toyota Prius, driven by 87-year-old Marjorie A. Allee of Sedalia, struck the rear of the Camry.

Allee suffered moderate injuries, while her passenger, 80-year-old Dorene Burnett, also of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD for treatment.

The Camry had minor damage, while the Prius was totaled and towed by Tip Top Towing.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
