Two men were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2021 Lexus U250H, driven by a 44-year-old male from Kansas City, was on US 50, east of NE 501 Road just before 1 p.m., when the Lexus slid off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

The driver and his passenger, a 26-year-old man from Sedalia, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD.

The Lexus was totaled and towed by Tip Top Towing.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
