Two Houstonia residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday morning in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2015 Jeep Compass, driven by 20-year-old Gabrielle L. Bailey of Houstonia, was on Route CC, east of Rangeline Road (northeast of Houstonia) around 8:30 a.m., when the driver lost control on a curve. The Jeep traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment, causing it to overturn.

Bailey and her passenger, a 14-year-old female, also from Houstonia, suffered minor injuries.

Bailey was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, while her passenger was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

The Compass had extensive damage, and was towed by InMotion.

Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
