Two Arrested After Disturbance at Missouri State Fairgrounds

Police were called to the Missouri State Fairgrounds around 10:30 p.m. on September 9 on a report of a disturbance with weapons.

A witness reportedly told police that a man had assaulted a woman in the parking lot. When others intervened and pulled the man away, the woman then allegedly grabbed a gun, making it known that she had it.

Police say both the man and woman were intoxicated. 23-year-old Dillon D. Mallonee of Sedalia was arrested for fourth degree domestic assault. 24-year-old Ashley N. J. Shine of Springfield was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon.
