Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday night in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2005 Mitsubishi Galante, driven by 40-year-old Jeremiah J. Casdorph of Cole Camp, was on US 65, north of Route P just after 9 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, became airborne and overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Casdorph suffered serious injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Cole Camp EMS.

An 11-year-old male was transported to Bothwell by Cole Camp EMS with moderate injuries.

And an 8-year-old female was transported to Bothwell by Warsaw-Lincoln EMS with moderate injuries.

The Mitsubishi was totaled.

Benton County Deputies assisted the Patrol.

Casdorph was later arrested by the Patrol and charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
