Three Arrested in Connection to Johnson County Shooting
Multiple law enforcement agencies recently made arrests regarding the early morning shooting that occurred on Sunday, June 16, in the 600 block of SE 550th Road in Johnson County, MO.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department says on June 20, the Detectives Division with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals and the ATF apprehended 21-year old Gavin Syring, of Warrensburg, in the Lee’s Summit, MO area.
Syring had an active Johnson County warrant for tampering with motor vehicle.
Also on June 20, the Johnson County authorities with the assistance of the Warrensburg Police Department apprehended 26-year old Tanner Propst, of Warrensburg.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department additionally says on June 16, detectives with the assistance of the Warrensburg Police Department apprehended 27-year old Nicholas Patterson, of Warrensburg. He was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and later held on a probation violation warrant.
All three subjects were charged with Assault 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action and are being held in the Johnson County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 cash-only bond.
Investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
