Sedalia Police were called to a residence in the 500 block of North Osage Avenue on Saturday to investigate a disturbance after a woman claimed that a suspect had pointed a gun at her son and left. According to police, the caller said that the suspect was coming back to the residence

Week one of high school football kicks off tomorrow, and I'm excited to bring you the game of the week once again. We have a lot of great games in store for you this year, and tomorrow begins what looks to be another great year of high school football.

Lots of groups and organizations in our area are deciding that they want to get active.  For me, that means pretty much doing anything that's off the couch.  But for these busy folks, they'll be doing a lot of walking, running, exercising, and other sporty stuff!

One thing that a lot of people around here take for granted is that there's so much history and culture in our area.  In fact, several families and groups have lived in our area for hundreds of years.  That's something that the Windsor Septemberfest celebrates, while also championing the now and working for the future.
