Fireball Run

You guys remember the big Fireball Run that came through town a couple of years ago. It was an internet sensation and something that Sedalia absolutely loved -and will never forget. And the best part of it was, we did some good!

According to a release from the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce, The Fireball Run Team, Sedalia Trailblazers, Ron Ditzfeld and Rick Yeager, were assigned a missing child by the National Missing Child Center, and they drove 2,000 miles distributing fliers of him.

Ever since we first heard of the Fireball Run series coming to Sedalia, it's been a long wait for all the excitement to get here.  Now this weekend, it's finally time!

The Fireball Run is off and running on their opening weekend. The race started on Sept. 26 in Frisco, Texas and will make it's way to Independence, Missouri on Saturday, October 4, 2014. Fireball Run: America’s Frontier, is an online reality-filmed entertainment series - and it's coming to Sedalia in just a couple of short weeks.

Local and area residents are invited to be a part of a reality series filmed for television when they attend the Fireball Run stop in Sedalia on in the first week of October.

The Fireball Run Rally is coming to Sedalia this fall. Not only will our town be a destination for the event, but Sedalia will also be represented by a team competing in the race. Sedalia's team will consist of Ron Ditzfeld and Rick Yeager. I'm sure they'll do a great job representing Sedalia, but they don't have a team name yet. So let's give them some suggestions!
