Syracuse Residents Injured in Moniteau County Wreck
Two Syracuse residents were injured Thursday in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Moniteau County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2003 Honda Pilot, driven by 28-year-old Kaitlyn E. Henry of Syracuse, was on US 50, a third of a mile east of the Old Highway 50 Junction at 4:50 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a bluff and overturned.
Henry and her passenger, 34-year-old Andrew M. Peoples of Syracuse, were moderately injured and transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to University Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, respectively, for treatment. Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The Honda was totaled.
