Shoplifting Complaint Leads to Sedalia Woman’s Arrest
A 25-year-old Sedalia woman was arrested on July 7 when police were called to Walmart to investigate a case of shoplifting.
Police say Christina Hope Horn was in possession of over $100 worth of stolen merchandise, which was later recovered. Horn was arrested, and a search reportedly led to the discovery of a prescription pill and methamphetamine in her wallet, which she allegedly attempted to give to her 11-year-old niece.
Horn was transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was placed on a 24-hour hold on two charges of possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, and theft.
