When news broke that Dickie Doo BBQ was closing its doors on April 6 after being open since 1974, the people of Sedalia mourned the lost of such a great venue for live music, great food and good times. After a bit of a hiatus and plenty of people begging Rick Hunt to bring the Doo back, he has decided to reopen the doors.

Dickie Doo reopened today (Aug 19), and Rick has some great things planned to celebrate the reopening. Rick has rolled out some killer specials, all this week lunch specials will all be served at senior price. That means everyone can grab a meal and a drink for only $5.49. Don't forget Happy Hour either.

Of course it wouldn't be Dickie Doo without some great live music. On Thursday Aug 22, it's the jam night reunion. Grab an instrument and join in on the fun.

On Friday, Aug. 23, the Full Moon Band will play a great line up of rock-n-roll. It will be one of the last performances from Megan, so you won't want to miss it, and there is no cover charge!

Saturday, Aug. 24, Cedar Creek will settle in at Dickie Doo and play a great variety of music, and once again, Rick has opened the doors for free, no cover charge to get in!

Make sure to stop by Dickie Doo all this week and take advantage of the great lunch deals, happy hour, and free live music. See you at the Doo!
