Sedalia Woman Totals Chrysler in JoCo

A Sedalia woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2010 Chrysler, driven by 20-year-old Emily A. Rogers of Sedalia, was on 958 NW Missouri 131 at 6:35 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a mailbox and a tree.

Rogers suffered minor injuries and was taken by EMS to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for treatment.

The Chrysler was totaled and towed.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
